Mission: Possible

Mission: Possible is an Oakland Deanery-sponsored mission trip, open to any youth from 8th grade to college-age. During the summer mission of 2013,  youth were invited to work with amazing organizations like Grace Centers of Hope, Baldwin Center and CCRT (delivering furniture and household items to needy families). Together we explored the unknown as we found God in the midst of chaos! Our programming focused on community and this question—what is the kingdom of heaven? With that question in mind, youth and adult leaders alike were pulled together with fun, meaningful community service during the day and challenging, team-building games/challenges at night. Mission: Possible will return in the summer of 2014 and is being organized by Andrew Wilke, Youth Minister at Advent Episcopal Church. Please contact Andrew with any questions at 248-921-9694 or iwillserve333@aol.com
